Author Hangs Hopes on Life Story Film Production Following Attendance at BronzeLens Film Festival
Hunter’s narrative describes what it was like growing up in the shadows of a famous, yet detached psychotic mother whose affections were focused on the homeless shelter that she founded; and not on her children. Though it was supposed to have been a haven for the downtrodden, the shelter was actually the breeding ground for dysfunction and despondency.
The author and his living siblings (10 sisters, eight brothers) range in age from 41 to 62; residing in Austin, TX, Moreno Valley, CA, Racine, WI, Memphis, TN. Atlanta, GA, Pittsburgh, PA and St. Paul, MN. Among them, the siblings have 63 children and 55 grandchildren.
AMPS (African-aMerican People Succeeding), Trendsetters to Trendsetters, Austin Fit and Rock Thiz magazines all profiled Paul Hunter in their October issues. This summer Ebony, FINE Success and AMPS magazines each found Hunter’s gripping story so compelling as to warrant sharing with their respective readers nationwide.
