Care2 member Lee R created a petition asking for Georgia’s Habersham County to pay the medical bills for the little boy injured by a grenade during a raid. Here are the details in Lee’s words:
Georgia’s Habersham County Board of Commissioners refuse to pay medical bills after their SWAT team shot a flash grenade into a 19-month-old boy’s crib, critically injuring him. The toddler was in the hospital for weeks. To make matters whose, this took place during a drug raid that was conducted in the wrong house!
The grenades were developed for combat use and are meant to temporarily blind and deafen anyone nearby…. Demand Habersham County pay for the boy’s medical bills!
