The Awards were created to recognize and reward remarkable achievements in the African American business community.
Nationwide (BlackNews.com) â€“ The submission period for the Urban Elite Business Awards begins on September 1, 2015. The idea for the awards was conceived by entrepreneur Kyla Federowicz to celebrate and reward outstanding professionals in multiple disciplines within the African American community.
Federowicz, who is both founder and CEO of the Urban Elite Business Awards, comments: “One of our most important goals is to provide a national platform where we can honor the exceptional talent found within Americas vibrant Black business community. The Black business community has always played an important role in Americas social and cultural livelihood.”
She further added, “The Urban Elite Business Awards aims to elevate Americas Black business professionals to a world class level, and provide them with a meaningful and legitimate forum for national recognition. With 70 categories in six main divisions we hope to award a diverse group of winners who are making positive changes and contributions in their community.”
The Awards will honor outstanding professionals with over 70 awards in the following six categories: Business Services; Fashion and Beauty; Special Events; Entertainment and Media; Churches and Social Organizations; and Best in Business.
The Awards are open to all African Americans over the age of 13 and currently residing in the United States. Those eligible are allowed to nominate themselves and/or fellow business persons and community members. Interested persons can visit the Urban Elite Business Awards website to register their submissions from September 1, 2015 to September 30, 2015.
Category winners will receive a custom crystal award, a custom press release, recognition on the Urban Elite Business Awards Website and a listing in its Black Book, as well as an electronic website badge confirming his/her award status, and a gift bag.
