South Shore Chamber of Commerce presents The Legacy of Business by Legacy Revolution, September 28th

The Legacy of Business, by Legacy Revolution, a not-for-profit organization, will be presented by the South Shore Chamber of Commerce at its Monthly Meeting, Wednesday, September 28, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at 1750 E. 71st St, Chicago.

One’s legacy is their wisdom and their wealth passed down in such a way that they are an inspiration for generations. Business owners face unique challenges in reference to passing down their legacies. Typically, a successful business owner has created their life around their business. The owner has been integral to the success of the business. But what happens if the owner should become disabled or pass away. Will the owner’s business and his/her legacy be carried forward?

This 90-minute Legacy Revolution workshop addresses the following points:

  • What is one’s legacy?
  • How difficult is it to plan, build and protect a legacy?
  • What happens to a business owner’s legacy if he/she doesn’t create a plan?
  • For the aging business owner, are there ways to NOT lose the business to healthcare expenses?

This workshop will be presented by Kimberly Jean Brown and Julie Jones. Kimberly and Julie are both Legacy Attorneys with Protecting Legacies LLC and present workshops through the Legacy Revolution, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
