Markham Public Library to Host Night of Family Fun on November 19th

Free Event Features Fun Activities and Surprises!

The staff of the Markham Public Library invites the entire family to a fun-filled night featuring storytellers, performers and surprises! The free event takes place on Thursday, November 19 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Themed, “Camp Out With a Book,” the fun takes place at the Library at 16640 South Kedzie in Markham, which is officially known as the Bradford Anderson Oglesby Library.

The evening of fun offers a rare opportunity for children to showcase their creativity and to tap into their imaginations through interactive games. There will also be a number of other activities aimed at encouraging participation and at delighting everyone of all ages. Refreshments will be served.

The first 15 families will receive free reading kits.

The program supports the library’s mission to encourage reading, and to promote family unity through the library’s many offerings.
