IDHR to Celebrate Women’s History Month with Event Featuring Merri Dee

CHICAGO, IL– The Illinois Department of Human Rights will hold its annual program to commemorate Women’s History Month at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 12th at the Michael A. Bilandic Building in Chicago. This event will feature an hour-long presentation (12 p.m. – 1 p.m.) by Chicago broadcasting legend and beloved media maven Merri Dee. The event will honor Merri Dee for her distinguished media career and hear stories from her recent memoir, ”Life Lessons on Faith, Forgiveness & Grace.” The media is welcome to attend.
