Thursday, October 4, 12 noon to 1 p.m., “Webinar – Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program Orientation”

Description: Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses at the City Colleges of Chicago is a practical business management education program that helps small business owners develop the skills they need to grow their companies.  Participants will receive one-on-one business advising from dedicated professionals to help them develop a tailored plan for growth.  Learn how the Women’s Business Development Center can help you be part of this investment designed to help local small business owners create jobs and economic opportunity.

Description: This 3-workshop series from the Women’s Business Development Center is designed for established business owners who want to: accelerate business growth and increase revenues; lessen distractions so they can focus on more of what only they can (and want to) do; drive profits to the bottom line; differentiate their business from the competition; charge what they know their work is worth; cultivate new business opportunities and ideal customers; create business cultures that thrive and support the team. Other sessions: 10/24, 11/7; must register for all three.

Description: Over 70% of U.S. internet users are on Facebook. Learn how to convey your brand’s message through Facebook in an effective, engaging and relevant manner. This Women’s Business Development Center webinar session will teach attendees how to: post engaging material at the appropriate intervals and times; determine the mission and purpose of your Facebook page for you brand and business; interact effectively to engage future clients; manage your Facebook page and decide who should be managing; weigh the pros and cons of launching a Facebook Ad campaign.
