CHICAGO, IL – Wayward Productions (WwP) has merged with Chicago Fusion Theatre (CFT) to continue producing under the name Wayward Productions. Former CFT Managing Director Natalie DiCristofano will now join the WwP staff as Director of Marketing, CFT Archivist Ashley Rose will continue her photographic chronicles with WwP, and former CFT Resident Designer Noel Dominique transitions to WwP as their new Technical Director. Wayward also welcomes newcomers Mary Patchell as Managing Director, Annie Cleveland as Director of Grants and Development, and new Artistic Associates Carlo Lorenzo Garcia, Megan See, and Chrystle Morman. They join Artistic Director Brittany Ellis, Chief Financial Officer Rush Marler, and Director of Fundraising Ashley Yates as Wayward heads into its second season, which will be announced in the late fall.

Artistic Director Brittany Ellis, of her new staff, affirms:

“I want to work with people who MUST do theatre. No hobbyists or weekend actors, but artists who live and breathe this art form. The motivation I have to be successful in this business must be matched by my team, and these new faces not only do that, but are incredible additions to the community itself. I’m proud and humbled to have them.”

Wayward Productions is a group of individuals who found each other working as actors in Chicago and decided to band together to create theatre that excited, scared, confused, inspired, and awed them collectively. Our mission is finding the beauty in the brutal. We’re here to change the way you think about theatre.
