Topinka Joins Red Cross’ “Holiday Mail For Heroes”
Comptroller sends a touch of home to U.S. Armed Forces
SPRINGFIELD, IL – Illinois Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka joined the American Red Cross and showed her support for the U.S. Armed Forces by signing holiday cards at the Illinois State Capitol Wednesday, November 06, 2013.
Topinka was part of the Red Cross “Holiday Mail for Heroes†program, which collects and distributes holiday cards of encouragement, gratitude and cheer to military members, veterans, and military families all over the world.
