Record Wisconsin Settlement for Police Shooting of Tony Robinson, Jr.
Unarmed Teenager Was Shot by a Madison Police Officer
A news conference discussing the $3.35 million settlement, which exceeds by more than $1 million the previous record in Wisconsin for a police-officer shooting suit, was held yesterday.
Tony Robinson, Jr. was 19 years old and unarmed when he was shot seven times on March 6, 2015 by Madison police officer Matthew Kenny.

Attending the press conference were family and friends of Tony Robinson, Jr., and the family’s attorneys. Besides his parents, Tony Robinson, Jr. is survived by five younger brothers and sisters.
