Prime Minister Netanyahu speaks with U.S. Senator Mark Kirk

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Senator Mark Kirk (R-IL) to offer his best wishes for the Senator’s speedy recovery.  Senator Kirk expressed his appreciation for the Prime Minister’s kind words during the AIPAC Policy Conference and reaffirmed his resolve to strengthen the security of the State of Israel.  The two discussed issues related to Iran and the urgent need for tougher sanctions.  They agreed to remain in close contact on issues of mutual concern.
