PBS Chicago to Air New Black Talk Show
Chicago, IL/ Merrillville, IN (BlackNews.com) — Lakeshore Public Media will present CounterPoint with Garrard McClendon, a new public affairs program premiering March 4 on PBS. From education to the economy to politics, CounterPoint will offer viewers in-depth interviews and commentary with newsmakers representing different perspectives across Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland.
CounterPoint with Garrard McClendon will be hosted by Emmy Award-winning talk show host and college professor, Dr. Garrard McClendon. In Chicago, he hosted Garrard McClendon Live on CLTV, Off 63rd on WYCC Chicago, and the McClendon Report on WVON.
Matt Franklin, Vice President of TV Operations for Lakeshore Public Media, says, Garrard is known all across Chicago and Northwest Indiana as a great moderator for engaging discussions about diverse topics. This program will bridge communities by educating, inspiring and connecting people through the power of public media.

CounterPoint with Garrard McClendon will air Fridays at 8pm on Lakeshore Public Television in Chicago, IL, and NW Indiana, starting March 4.
