New book discusses Urban Ministry through Global Social Collaboration in the context of the challenges faced in the 21st century
We Can Restore Together
Â
WASHINGTON, DC – There is an all-out assault on the poor. And that assault is global, systemic, digital, immoral, and effective. And those, whose responsibility it is to advocate for the poor, are in a “collective
slumber.” There is a Digital Secularization — the immoral use of technology that exploits the people, systems, and the social and natural environment across the world — in need of a humanizing, moral revolution. These factors and many others conjoin to make these very trying, desperate, and difficult times for the poor – and especially the growing numbers of urban poor of all ethnic and racial groups. But there is now a post-modern church technology prophet to appear to awaken those who sleep!
According to Dr. William B. McClain, Mary Elizabeth Joyce Professor of Preaching and Worship at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC, “Dr. Louis Hutchinson comes along just in time to offer help.” “The great prophet of the poor of the last century, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., would be plenty proud of this author and consider him in the same tradition of his “Poor People’s Campaign” in Washington just prior to his death in 1968.”
In this book, Dr. Hutchinson writes a sound sociological and scripture-based analysis, thoughtful theology, a deeply passionate love for the church and society, and a practical guidebook and project to foster a global digital ministry
Immediate News Release that calls for the collaboration of the church, corporations, organizations, governments, individuals, and the world for beneficial social change. The Restore Together book is available on Amazon.com and CreateSpace.com, both on Paperback and for the Kindle device.
