Marc Morial to Give Remarks at ‘Stateswomen for Justice’ Luncheon Forum on ‘My Brother’s Keeper’
Panel Includes National African-American Women Leaders, Who Will Respond to the President’s New Initiative
National Urban League President/CEO Marc Morial, a member of the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability for Young Americans, will give remarks during the Annual “Stateswomen for Justice” forum at the National Press Club today.
The forum, sponsored by Trice Edney Communications & Newswire, is an annual commemoration of Women’s History Month and the 187th Birthday of the Black Press.
The theme of the event is “How to Move from Chaos to Community: Our Response to ‘My Brother’s Keeper’ “ will be held Thursday, March 20, 2014, from Noon-2 p.m.
Main Panelists are:
Barbara Arnwine, President/CEO of the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law; Dr. Julianne Malveaux, President Emeritus, Bennett College for Women; Dr. E. Faye Williams, National Chair, Melanie Campbell, president/CEO of the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation and convener of the Black Women’s Roundtable; and Dr. Barbara Reynolds, award-winning journalist and syndicated columnist. The Panel will be moderated by activist Omarosa Manigault.
