Kirk Statement on Arrests in Cook County Sex Trafficking Sting

 CHICAGO, IL – US senator Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) issued the following statement after reports of 230 arrests related to sex trafficking by Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart: 

“Sex trafficking is modern day slavery and I applaud Sheriff Dart’s efforts to confront these crimes head on, all over Chicagoland,” said Senator Kirk. “Sheriff Dart has been an invaluable partner in confronting sites like Backpage to stop human traffickers.”
