Alderman Bob Fioretti, candidate for Chicago Mayor, will release his public safety platform today at 11:00 a.m., which includes a comprehensive strategy on addressing the immediate crime issues on our streets such as guns, police response times, and staffing; as well as the need to take a holistic approach to making our streets safer.

Said Fioretti: “We need a mayor who sees value in our neighborhoods and respects the people who live there. We need a mayor who can envision a better future and can provide the required leadership to get us there. As mayor, my priorities will be safe streets and strong neighborhoods. I will take both immediate actions and major long-range efforts necessary to achieve these goals.”

Fioretti will release his public safety platform today, January 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., at Fioretti for Mayor Campaign Headquarters, 1043 W. Madison, Suite 300.

A copy of the policy will be posted on Fioretti’s website, www.BobFioretti.com, at 8:30 a.m.
