Family and community residents of West Haven will hold a protest rally today over the shooting of Denzel Ford, 19 yrs old, whom they said was brutally shot 8 times by Chicago Police Saturday night, Sept 13, 2014. Ford survived but is in serious condition.

According to the Chicago Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression
Stop Police Crimes Campaign, locals strongly dispute the CPD account of events. Family and community members are outraged at what happened to Denzel and, that another unarmed young black man has been gunned down by CPD.

Loved ones and the community are calling for people across Chicago to join the rally for justice today. They are demanding that the cop(s) who attempted to murder Denzel Ford be fired and prosecuted and that justice be served for all victims of CPD.

The protest rally will be held today, Monday, September 15th, at Lake & Western at 5 p.m., in Chicago.
