Earl B. King II, son of Dr. Earl B. King Sr. and Darryll S. King to be inducted into National Scholars Society

Earl B. King II, 19, the son of Dr. Earl B. King, Sr. and on-air personality Darryl S. King, will be inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) Sunday, September 25, 2011 at 2 p.m. on the campus of Howard University.

King’s mother is the well-known on-air personality on both WYCA’s 102.3 FM and Soul 106.3 FM radio stations.

Young King’s goal is to become a psychiatrist, according to his father who said, “We are very proud of our son who is living life and achieving his goal of becoming a psychiatrist.

“NSCS is more than just a symbol of academic achievement,” said Stephen E. Loflin, NSCS’ CEO and founder. “Membership gives students access to a number of amazing benefits including career and networking resources, scholarships, travel and service projects both on campus and in the community.”
