CHICAGO, IL -  Dr. Willie Wilson, candidate for Mayor, will address Chicago Republican committeemen, volunteers, and supporters this Sunday evening, February 15, at 6:00 p.m., in Greektown.

The candidacy of Dr. Wilson has started to gather interest from Republicans across the city. Dr. Wilson has expressed conservative positions on business, taxes, the Second Amendment and traditional values. Wilson was among those Chicago African-Americans who helped Governor Bruce Rauner earn 21% of the Chicago vote in the fall.

Dr. Wilson arrived in Chicago with little money or education. He rose to become the owner of five McDonald’s franchises and the founder and CEO of one of America’s fastest-growing international medical supply companies. He founded a television production company where he  produces SINGSATION,  the first nationally-syndicated gospel entertainment show on network television. He is a philanthropist who gives hundreds of thousands of dollars to Chicago-area churches every year.

The Republican Party receives just under 20% of the vote in Chicago, a number which could have a significant impact on the race for Mayor.
