Dr. Barbara Reynolds, MLK Board of Preachers Inductee, to Lead Holy Week Services in L. A.

Award-winning national journalist and preacher Rev. Dr. Barbara A. Reynolds, an author and syndicated columnist, will be the keynote speaker concluding Holy Week services at the Miracles In Action Faith Center, Intl, located at 645 W. Arbor Vitae St., Inglewood, Calif. 90301.

The Easter Resurrection Worship starts at 11:45 a.m., on Sunday, April 20. Dr. Reynolds will bring the message, according to the pastor, Dr. Jynona Norwood.

A founding editor of USA Today, Washington Post columnist, and award-winning journalist, Dr. Reynolds has appeared on the ‘Oprah Winfrey Show,’ ‘Politically Incorrect,’ and  ‘CNN and Co.’ She was recently inducted into the Morehouse College Martin Luther King Jr. Board of Preachers.

Among other guest speakers for this week’s celebration will be Elder Gerald Harris, an advisor for the United States Department of Justice and former Chief of Security for the National Church of God in Christ, Inc. He is also a former Warden at the Soledad State Prison.

On Good Friday, April 18, at noon the Seven Last Words of Christ will be presented by Dr. Norwood, Dr. Reynolds, and other guest preachers, followed by a complimentary fish fry dinner and performance by Gospel  rapper, Holy D.

Holy D. has won numerous awards for his unique style of ministry. He has appeared with Vanessa Bell-Armstrong at the Gospel Comedy Jam and with Curtis Blow at the Holy Hip Hop Church in Los Angeles.
