Huntsville, AL (BlackNews.com) — As much of the free world prepares to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.-led 1963 March on Washington and his famed “I Have A Dream” speech, Seventh-day Adventist Church-run Oakwood University School of Religion Dean Dr. Mervyn A. Warren recently shared with WAAY-TV (ABC) his personal tape recording of the civil right leader’s March 19, 1962 address at then – Oakwood College – Dr. King’s lone north Alabama visit – in which he concluded with his now-legendary “from every mountainside, . . . free at last, thank God almighty, we are free at last” – 17 months before the March.
