College Educate Our Sons Hosts Its 6th Weekend of Hope and Inspiration and Its 2nd Annual Banquet for At Risk Young Men
“The Ties That Bind: Empowering Young Men and Keeping Them Safe”
WASHINGTON, DC – College Educate Our Sons, Inc. (CEOS), a Maryland based non-profit, will celebrates its 6th Weekend of Hope and Inspiration and Its 2nd Annual Banquet for young men and their families from September 25-28, 2014. The activities begin with its 2nd Annual Banquet on September 25, 2014.
CEOS founder and chief executive officer Dr. Bertram Melbourne warns, “Our sons are walking through a landscape filled with landmines of low spiritual, intellectual and social capital with many dangers lurking everywhere, we must do something to save them.”
He asks, “How do we provide an ecosystem that will put a solid path under their feet and protection? We must collaborate to keep them safe and productive.”
The Banquet will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, at the Key Bridge Marriott 1401 Lee Highway in Arlington, Virginia at 7:00 PM.
The Keynote speaker is Pastor Dexter Thomas, D.Min. Dr. Thomas has been called “the blind man with vision” because he has been without physical sight since birth.
The psalmist for the evening is gifted Jazz and Gospel artist, John Stoddart.
