Award-Winning Actor/Producer Spike Lee is Holding an Open Casting Call Looking for Talent in Illinois as Extras in his Film, Chiraq!!!

Award-winning actor/producer Spike Lee is holding an open casting call Saturday, May 9, 2015, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Saint Sabina Academy in the Bethune Hall, 7801 South Throop St., Chicago, IL.

4 Star Casting is looking for the following: males/females, all ethnicities, ages 7-75, according to Saint Sabina’s Father Michael L. Pfleger who has allowed Lee to use his church as his movie productions headquarters.

Recruitment for participants in this shoot starts immediately 4 Star Casting is looking to hire hundreds of Chicago locals to work as extras in the film who are available during the shoot period: May 2015 through July 2015.

Only Illinois residents are eligible to participate in  the open casting call. All participants 16 and older will need to bring a CURRENT Illinois issued driver’s license or state ID. This will be checked before entering the premises. Children 15 and under will be given paperwork on how to obtain a work permit.

NOTE: If you have a child under the age of 7 and want to have them considered, please bring a candid photo of that child, approximately 4×6 in size, and be sure to legibly print their name, parent’s name, phone number and e-mail address on the back of it. You will fill out a separate information sheet for that child.
