Veteran Political Strategist Ronni Council to Serve as Nevada Draft Biden State Director, Joins Latino Outreach Director

Nevada – Draft Biden announced today that veteran political strategist Ronni Council will serve as State Director for the Nevada Draft Biden movement. Council joins a new roster of prominent campaign operatives in the early primary and caucus states.

“Vice President Biden has maintained an extremely strong relationship with Nevadans throughout his time in office,” Council said. “As we’ve seen every time he visits our state, his ability to listen and relate with every day Americans is one of the reasons he’s so respected here. Vice President Biden’s honest, forthright leadership is why his voice is needed and will be welcomed in the coming debate for the presidency.”

Draft Biden has also announced the hiring of additional team members to lead the Draft effort. Jocelyn Sida, an Obama/Biden delegate to the 2012 Democratic Convention, will serve as Latino Outreach Director.”Vice President Joe Biden has the most experience among all candidates to lead this country forward,” said Sida. “President Barack Obama chose him as his right-hand because he knew that Joe Biden was equipped to be his successor. There is a lot of work to be done in the next few years, and the only one that can carry that torch, on issues of immigration and social justice, is Vice President Joe Biden.”

Background: The Draft Biden SuperPAC is an effort to compel Vice President Biden to throw his hat into the ring for the 2016 Presidential campaign, Over the past few weeks, the Vice President has given numerous signs that he is seriously considering making a bid for the White House. The Draft Biden SuperPAC is currently working to build the infrastructure and recruit the support the Vice President would need should he launch a campaign. Well over 200,000 Americans have signed a petition to ask the Vice President to run.

About Ronni Council: Originally from Las Vegas, Council is the President and Founder of Organized Karma, one of the most respected political consultancies in Nevada. She started her political career working for Senator Harry Reid’s re-election campaign and served as State Director for Joe Biden’s 2008 Presidential campaign, before becoming Senior Adviser in Nevada for the Hillary Clinton campaign.
