Pitch Competition for Start-Ups
THE DCSMSA buzz and chatter is all about FINAL PITCH a new television reality program slated to air on the FOX WDCA network coming September 11, 2015. The Final Pitch television format is a one hour pitch competition for startup businesses.
Produced by Inez Kelley of Kelley Media Marketing, Final Pitch, with its Shark Tank-esque appeal, seeks Entrepreneurs with early stage ideas and concepts to compete for the chance to win $10,000.00 along with a host of professional business support services.
With Cycle I completed, we are in preparation for FINAL PITCH CYCLE II. Currently only startups located within the DMV area will be accepted. Selected from an open application process, we look for startups with a high potential of industry disruption. These early stage entrepreneurs should be prepared to demonstrate the ability to effectively monetize and shape their respective industry’s evolutionary process, thus making a successful transition into the American corporate mainstream. Concurrently considered, is how this impact will enhance the consumer’s overall experience.
Making these determinations are the Final Pitch judges …a panel made up of the best of the best in the DMV business community: Charles Scott, President, The Financial Crisis Prevention Center, Ethel Mitchell, Attorney & Host of WOL Radio Show Law-Talk with Ethel Mitchell; Former Chief Counsel for Advocacy for The SBA, Dr. Winslow Sargeant; Venture Capitalist and now Chairman MyQVO, and Cynthia Harrison, Director of Small Business Development, Operation Hope.
In addition, we’ve added a new element to Cycle II, Quincy Carr
@quincycarr creator of ‘The Quality Comedy Series’, will serve as

moderator and host, making a more entertaining exchange between judges and contestants. Be sure to follow us for updates and details  on new contestants and Cycle I WINNER! Honey Bun Cake Factory, the Cycle 1 winner.
Applications from entrepreneurs will be accepted through August 28, 2015. Apply on line @www.finalpitchdmv.com
