Written & Performed by Kim Schultz
Musical Accompaniment by Ronnie Malley

Falling in love with an Iraqi refugee was never part of Kim Schultz’s plan, but a man named Omar changed all that. No Place Called Home is that unexpected story—a story about an American woman and an Iraqi man, a story about one refugee in 2 million, a story that isn’t supposed to be a love story.

Playwright / performer Kim Schultz says, “Most of my ‘characters’ are real people (only a few are composite characters combining several people I met). So when I speak, they are speaking, literally. I was in the room with them. I watched their mannerisms, heard their stories, drank their tea. I honor the spirit that lives in each story, in each person.”

We are thrilled that acclaimed Middle Eastern music maestro Ronnie Malley is joining Kim on stage. Ronnie will provide rich musical accompaniment to Kim’s powerful performance. If you have not heard Ronnie play before, you are in for a treat! Click HERE to listen to some of his music.
