Illinois Department Of Human Rights to Commemorate Black History Month
CHICAGO, IL – The Illinois Department of Human Rights will hold its annual program to commemorate Black History Month at 12:00pm on Wednesday, February 11, at the James R. Thompson Center in Chicago. This hour-long event will involve a brief stage reading of the play “From Slavery to the White Houseâ€, written and directed by Chicago playwright Crystal “Phoenix†Tyler. A brief discussion will follow the dramatic reading.
