Baltimore, MD – Baltimore City NAACP President Tessa Hill-Aston is excited to announce a city-wide enrollment event to help Baltimore residents #GetCovered!  Baltimore City NAACP want to ensure that communities are fully aware of the ACA benefits and the enrollment process, and provide Baltimore residents an opportunity to participate in open enrollment activities.

The Affordable Health Care Act enrollment event was held on Friday, February 6th 2015 on the 2nd Level of Lexington Market, 400 W. Lexington Street from 11:00 – 6:00 pm.

“Open enrollment ends on February 15th and we know too many residents of Baltimore are still in need of health insurance,” said President Hill-Aston.  “Spread the word and let people know how important this event is and we’re here to make sure they have all the information they need to make these important decisions.”

Maryland Health Care Access navigators will be available on-site to guide participants step-by-step through enrolling and to answer questions from 11:00 – 2:00pm.  Various vendors representing community organizations will also be available and ACA-related educational resources distributed throughout the day.  For additional information, please contact (410) 366-3300.
