New Resolution by National Black Caucus of State Legislators Calls for More Employment Diversity in the Tech Industry

DALLAS, TX – The MinorityEye will hold a teleconference in Dallas to discuss a new resolution from the National Black Caucus of State Legislators (NBCSL) that calls on tech giants like Google, Facebook, Twitter and others to diversify their workforces. The teleconference will be held after the NBCSL Annual Legislative Conference on Friday, December 12 at 10:00am (Central Time); 11am (Eastern).

The resolution comes on the heels of recently released statistics by these companies, showing unequal representation of minority communities in their workforces. The MinorityEye will be joined by the President of NBCSL and sponsor of the resolution, State Representative Joe Armstrong of Tennessee, District 15.

The campaign for Equality in Technology seeks to raise awareness of the startling minority employment gap in the US technology sector.
