The band’s music has been described as an eclectic, yet seamless blend of Electronica, Funk, R&B, Smooth Jazz and Techno. “Straight To The Top” has guest features throughout the offering. Donald Payne and Stan Jones on Vocals along with Saxist Tim Reeves, return from “Digital Extasy” which was Sonic Phunk’s first release. In addition, Jazz Guitarist, David P. Stevens brings some of his Philly Soul to the mix, along with newcomer Charles Prophet, who lends his talent on Sax.
“It comes as no surprise to me that Sonic Phunk has once again hit a home run. From the first note to the last, this album will have you turning up the speakers. If you’re ready for a toe-tapping and head-bopping good time, this should be in your library.” — Uziono
