Were youth ever taught that killing has consequences?

God’s Commandment: Thou shall not kill!

If you owned a home and a renter abused it – would you be angry, passive or have a heart of compassion? Without question the property-owner would be more than angry and would often demand that the occupant vacate the premises! We should then realize that this earth is not our home, but we are merely strangers traveling through a barren land. Thank God for His heart of compassion toward us, for this is His house: We are sheep of His pasture. We must enter into His gates. We must enter into His courts. We must know that He is God – and that it is He who has made us and not we ourselves. Are youth and elders alike aware as to the land-lord’s (God) rules and regulations? Have they been taught?

Once young but now past the age of retirement, I unmistakably realize that I’m going to leave this earth! However, the dilemma in leaving is that youth who will embark upon this planet will be void of the Land-Lord’s agreements which are commandments! The mystical question becomes, where are some youth coming from and only God knows where they are going?! As I’ve stated many times before, jails and prisons are the waiting-rooms to hell. Many youth are not hearing what’s being said, but are they being told biblical-truth is the question!

As God planned it; most adults are going to one day close their eyes and prayerfully travel to a world unknown, but what are we leaving as examples for our children, and their children’s children? Have our living given hope to youth for a brighter tomorrow, or did we buy into what youth have declared – that they will not have a brighter tomorrow and that they won’t live pass 30 or 40-years of age?

Many of our youth are without the understanding that they were created for a divine-purpose…and for God’s agenda only! Each person has a responsibility for their stewardship while here, and how well we’ve fulfilled God’s purpose will speak for itself in the final-judgment. All that we do is being written in the book-of-life and will be unfolded before us in the judgment. Are youth aware of this? Has this been taught to them?

Killing one-another is against the law of God, for He has declared that we would love one another as He has loved us! Picking up arms (guns) against one another for the purpose of killing is against the commandments of God… which says that we should not kill! Is God a liar to tell us what to do and not have consequences for our not keeping his commandments?  Would then this murderess action displease God? Ah, but it is far better to please God rather than man!

Picking up a gun with unlawful intent is a sin – and who can better know the intent of your heart than God? The scripture says that God searches the heart and that the heart is wicked – who can know it but God?

Destroying the temple of God with drugs is in-fact against the principles of God when He said that we should keep it (the body) holy and undefiled. Were youth ever instructed?

Was our spiritual seed ever passed on to youth in their rearing? Were there spiritual road-maps given youth as to the proper way they should go – knowing that when they become adults instructions would not depart from them?!  

Are youth acquainted with the 10-Commandments of God which includes: Thou Shall Not Kill! Did they learn that to disregard the commandments of God would have severe repercussions? The question becomes: Were our youth ever taught that to disobey the instructions of God could possibly send a person to the pit of hell?

In that youth emulate what they see: What did they see in our lives that they can use, thusly, not only pleasing mankind, but pleasing in the sight of God?  Did we allow youth to tamper with guns in the home and did we teach them that guns can kill? Did we ever say, without a thought, unkind things about others and wishing their detriment? Did we spew out hatred toward people based upon unspeakable lies, biasness, and wishing that those not seeing things our way were dead…? Were these things stated but not acutely aware that the child was absorbing all said? The fear in this is the child is now instilled with this adult behavior and the child would later carryout what they deem as your ideologies! Why? Because they love you and want to emulate what you say and do. They really didn’t and still don’t have a clue that you perhaps didn’t mean what was said. The educational process of not knowing right from wrong was not there then and perhaps not now!

Did we allow God to order our steps in the rearing of our children? Are we ashamed to raise holy-hands to the heavens and confess that we have done all in our earthly power to rear the child by the precepts of God? Why not be naked with yourself – God knows even the secret thoughts of man – and woman.

What we note in the streets of our city are thousands of youth who are looking for a family structure… and many find it with the body of deceitful persons who make merchandise of them.

The scriptures tell us that in the latter days the people would call right wrong and wrong right? Is this simply because many have strayed from the teaching of the scriptures which gave to us the guidelines for living on this earth? I think that often men and women believe that they can ‘have it their way’ without first reading the manual.

Without preaching may I please say again … this is not our home. We are merely strangers traveling through a barren land. Sooner than later if we have not read life’s manual which is the Bible we are going to get misled and become as lost sheep. Well, youth in many cases have not heard – nor have they been taught! Who’s to blame? We tend to blame everybody; teachers, preachers, lawmakers and just everybody…but ourselves. Well, I think we as adults must look in the mirror and ask ourselves this question… is it my fault that my child or children have strayed and are now criminally sin-sick? Well, the scripture says without question that in many cases the parents have eaten of the sour grapes and now the children’s teeth are set on edge.

Perhaps we as a nation should come to grips that we all have allowed our nation-of-children to go their own way – when our children without an education cannot spell their own way!

A foreign voice has been heard which without restraints forces into the ears of youth – that there is a far better way, but give them no explanation for that better way. And parents, because of disappointment and anger, in most cases merely let go and allow the child to rear themselves – when the child honestly don’t know the school rules of 8th grade. The hard core lessons of spiritual life has to be liken unto a large dose of bitter tasting castor-oil …it may not taste good to you – but it is good for you!

The grand conspiracy has it that African American youth at the 3rd and 4th grade, are void of proper educational training which sets the future course for his or her life. The grand plan is then etched in concrete that the child will become a candidate for jails or prison. Wake up Everybody! Many of us sleep while our precious children are snatched away from us by the whims of the world which is overseen by Satan. I suggest to you: Go with your child to school, meet the teacher and lend your assistance. The teachers in most cases are seeking to give all they have to the children, but are restrained by what is often considered a lesson plan. Question: Who writes the lesson plans and are our children written out of the educational process of learning? In Chicago, there was a law that was passed stating that The Chicago Board of Education teaches children African-American History. To the day of this document it has not been done. Why then becomes the question! You and I know the answer but refuse to get up off the seats of doing nothing and fight for our children’s educational rights.

My suggestion is that we not give over our children to the criminal just-us system, but do as God stated: Take back that which the enemy has stolen. And yes, Satan has stolen away many of our youth and without children or adults knowing they’ve been snatched away!

But, you are the adult and what’s your excuse for not reacting to what’s going on in the community regarding the children? Are you saying that you’re too old or too tired to deal with the children!  There is no valid excuse for neglecting children and blatantly turning them over into the hands of terror … Satan!  Note: I realize that many parents have done all that God has required and they have discharged their duty. Only God knows when we are liable for our transgressions – and if we repent – God is faithful to forgive.

Take back your children, and perhaps as the scripture indicates – it must be done by force! Then, take over the helms of the family and lead the lost misled child/sheep back to God- with love, care and concern.
