(A Message from the ILGOP)

There are many close election races in Illinois this year so let’s make sure we get all of our supporters to vote!

Early Voting starts today (October 22, 2012) and ends Saturday, November 3.

Click HERE to find the Early Voting locations and hours of operation in your County – or City Election Commission, if you live in the City of Bloomington, Chicago, Danville, East St. Louis, Galesburg, Peoria, Rockford, or the parts of the City of Aurora that are NOT in DuPage County).

Bring a Photo ID. State law requires Early Voters to display valid photo identification to an election official before receiving a ballot to vote early. Valid forms of ID include: a current driver’s license, state-issued ID card, university/college ID or another government-issued ID with a photograph.

You can also Vote by Mail. Formerly known as Absentee Balloting, voting by mail is a convenient way to cast your ballot if you are unable to get to your polling place on Election Day or get to an Early Voting location. Under Illinois law, it is no longer necessary to provide a reason to request a Vote By Mail ballot, such as being out of town or being physically unable to go to the polls. Click HERE to download a Vote By Mail application. The last day to apply for a Vote By Mail ballot is Thursday, November 1, 2012.
