Dear Family and Friends:
This week there were shootings and killings across the city and a 22-year-old
was shot and killed at 79th and Loomis in the middle of the day in the White
Castle’s parking lot, touching off new gang friction.  We must address this
immediately to let it be known WE WILL not accept the violence!

This Sunday (March 4th), during the 10 a.m. Unity Service, the sermon will
be an action in our streets and prayer.  We will begin service as usual, and
the sermon will be an Action, and we will return to church to continue mass.
There will be two groups, those that take to the streets and those
who will intercede in prayer in the Sanctuary for the sermon.
I realize this is radical to many, but OUR CHILDREN
ARE DYING and WE ARE THE CHURCH!
I am asking for your support and trust in this!  Please come prepared, I need
your presence.  Men, I need you!  Spread the word!  Let’s have church
and let’s be church!
