‘Sustaining Profitable Growth’ Hot Topic for Women Business Owners Workshop July 30 in Chicago

CHICAGO, IL – Small business owners seeking ways to grow their business should attend, “Attracting New Customers and Sustaining Profitable Growth,” a workshop presented by the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC).The event will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 9 to 11:30 a.m., at Microsoft Technology Center, 200 E. Randolph, MPR Room 2+3, in Chicago.

Presenter Terri Shapiro, executive director of brand and media relations for Deluxe Corporation in Minnesota, will help small business owners discover the keys to successfully attract new customers. Topics include: assessing the unique opportunity for your business; how to profile your customer “target”; creating a clear statement of marketing objectives; choosing tactics that will work; the value of a marketing plan; effective implementation; and sustaining profitable growth.
