U.S. Senator Mark Kirk: Strongly condemns terrorist attack in Jerusalem

Washington, DC– Senator Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) today released the following statement  regarding the terrorist attack in Jerusalem:





“I strongly condemn today’s terrorist attack on Israeli civilians in Jerusalem. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. Today’s attack reminds us that Israel and the United States stand side by side in the War on Terror. Every democracy must have a bottom line. Israel has a right to defend herself against terrorism and the United States must stand squarely with our democratic ally in this difficult hour.”
