The Metropolitan Board of the Chicago Urban League Partners with Google to Empower the Future of Technology
The Metropolitan Board of the Chicago Urban League (MetroBoard) will present the second installment of the Young & Ambitious Speaker   Series, Empowering the Future of Tech. The series brings together senior level management from technology, software and digital spaces in a unique forum to speak directly to rising entrepreneurs about the state of the industry, innovative trends and building a community.
Moderator William Morris, senior brand consultant at Google will lead the event. Morris has seven years of brand management experiences in the field of technology and digital platforms from companies like Microsoft Xbox, and Pepsi.

The Metropolitan Board is committed to promoting and supporting the ideas and goals of the Chicago Urban League movement throughout Chicago through community outreach, fundraising and membership development.
The young professionals auxiliary is committed to uplifting the community and changing life for Chicago youth by providing them with enrichment programs and preparing them for adulthood. The partnership with Google, CDW, Groupon, and MillerCoors affinity groups is designed to bring awareness to minorities in the technology industries, acknowledge corporate contributions in these spaces and advocate for continued support in developing leaders within and outside the technology spear.
The event will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Google, 20 West Kinize Street #900, in Chicago.
