Kirk Statement on Madigan’s Opposition to Quinn-Giannoulias Tax Hikes
 Kirk for Senate campaign spokesperson Kirsten Kukowski released the following statement regarding Speaker Mike Madigan’s opposition to the Quinn-Giannoulias tax hikes:
“Even Democratic House Speaker Mike Madigan is now rejecting Pat Quinn and Alexi Giannoulias’ plan for higher taxes in Illinois. Alexi Giannoulias has a track record of supporting tax increases and being reckless with other people’s money including losing $73 million in college savings for Illinois families. Mark Kirk wants to tax less, spend less and borrow less to create jobs and move Illinois forward.”
