Community delegation to meet with warehouse managers at DB Schenker
Workers facing swastikas, confederate flags and sexual harassment, hostile work environment
Â
Local clergy, civil rights leaders, community supporters and employees of DB Schenker and Prologistics temp agency will attempt to meet with warehouse managers of Schenker Logistics in Joliet, IL today at 11 a.m., at the Cadbury Adams Warehouse, 401 East Laraway Road, Joliet, IL.
The delegation will try to mediate a resolution to discriminatory practices in the warehouse.
Workers at the Kraft/Cadbury’s warehouse in Joliet filed charges with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) on Thursday morning alleging that DB Schenker – the company running the warehouse – has repeatedly refused to address Nazi graffiti and sexual harassment, creating a hostile work environment.
