Chicago International Film Festival Announcing Their 2022 Free Summer Screenings
Weekly international screenings return starting May 24!
May 24 kicks off the return of the Chicago Int’l Film Festival’s Free Summer Screenings Program in theaters!
This year, their Summer Screenings expand to include two venues as they host free screenings at both the Chicago History Museum (Tuesdays May 24 – June 28) and the Chicago Cultural Center (Wednesdays July 6 – September 21).
Breathing new life into stories translated to the screen, the theme of this year’s selections is Adaptation. Whether faithful renderings of popular novels or radical re-imaginings of historical events, film can create vast, visual worlds while telling the stories that matter to us most.
All screenings begin at 6:30pm. Free tickets will become available each Monday throughout the summer or will be available at the door, subject to availability. Tickets for our first screening are available now! See The Full Program
