ARLINGTON INTERNATIONAL RACECOURSE SAYS GOODBYE TO ARLI WITH SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE
Summer is over and kids are headed back to school and so is our beloved mascot Arli! Come give Arli a proper send-off Sunday, September 1st at Arlington International Racecourse as we close out Family Days for the 2019 season. Arrive early for Breakfast at Arlington and dine as you watch morning training on the track. Classic scrambled eggs, waffles with seasonal berries, assorted pastries and more are on the menu. Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s are available for purchase. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet and greet some of our trainers and jockeys. Casual attire, including jeans are welcomed. After you’ve enjoyed breakfast, make your way down to the track for a day full of fun for everyone. General Admission is included with Breakfast at Arlington but if you can’t make it out early, this is your chance to get in FREE! Arli is hosting a Back to School Supply Drive to help local Chicagoland schools. To receive FREE General Admission just bring $8 worth of school supplies to the Arlington Box Office. Free admission is valid only on September 1st. List of acceptable school supplies can be found here: Arli Goes Back to School Supply Drive. To get our teachers foot on the right track, all will receive free General Admission with valid ID. Once you’re in the gate, it’s a race to find Arli for a picture on the photo wall. And this is the last Sunday for our Design Your Own Silks contest. Three winners will have their silks worn in an actual race by our jockeys! Our smallest patrons will also enjoy a petting zoo, bounce house, carnival games, our kids parade on the track and much more. So, come out to Arlington for our final Family Day of the season and say goodbye to Arli!
