ARLINGTON FIREWORKS SET FOR FRIDAY, JULY 5
Kick off Independence Day weekend Thursday, July 4th, at Arlington International Racecourse with special holiday racing, entertainment, live music and family fun! Chicagoland biggest and best fireworks show will be held Friday night, July 5th, and some reserved seating is available. The big show kicks off at dusk, but we’ll have entertainment throughout the day;

If you have not already purchased your tickets in advance, there will be a limited number of walk/drive up tickets available for purchase via credit or debit card (no cash) at the parking lot gates. Everyone entering the Arlington property will be required to either have their tickets in hand or must purchase a ticket upon entering the parking lot.
Then on Saturday… it is Jockey Appreciation Day, come help us honor these athletes of racing who take the helm of our stars of the show each and every week. Join us as we show our appreciation during a special presentation. Jockey interviews are available and don’t forget our jockey goggle giveaway. Enjoy $5 craft beers and live entertainment as The Noize takes the Miller Lite Band Stage during our Miller Lite Saturday Summer Concert Series. And take your shot at Saturday Squares, horse racing’s spin on a squares board.
The appreciation doesn’t end there, join us Sunday as we honor our first responders. All first responders (Police, Fire, EMT, Military) will receive free General Admission with valid ID. First responders will also receive a 25% discount off food items throughout the park. And why not wake up early with the horses and start your day off right with Breakfast at Arlington. Waffles with seasoned berries, applewood smoked bacon and sausage as well as our classic scrambled eggs are on the menu and so much more. Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s are available for purchase. After breakfast, place your bets as you enjoy live Chicagoland Bagpiper performances, live demonstrations by our very own Arlington Heights police, K-9 unit and fire departments and O’Leary’s Fire Truck Tours. Sundays are also Family Days at Arlington, a petting zoo, bounce house, face painting and carnival games and so much more are waiting for our youngest patrons.
