Nationwide Campaign Tour Rolls into Lisle, IL
The National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) will take its new red, white and blue campaign RV, “Rosie”, on the road next week. The “Destination: White House” tour will be rolling into Illinois on Sunday, May 15 at 3:00 pm. Join us at Mullens Bar and Grill, 3080 Warrenville Road, Lisle, Illinois, to greet Rosie. Wear your campaign attire and your enthusiasm and get your rally on!
The purpose of the tour is to put a Republican back in the White House by registering Republican-leaning women to vote, and rallying communities and Republican women’s clubs across the country. These rallies will feature NFRW President Carrie Almond and other NFRW leaders, as well as local Republican elected officials in Illinois, along with GOP and Federation leaders.
“Women’s voices and votes will make the difference in this election, and the NFRW is ready to get rolling to ensure Republican victories in November,” NFRW President Carrie Almond said.
Illinois Federation of Republican Women’s President, Susan Wynn Bence agrees with Almond adding, “I would like to encourage all who are able to come Rally with Rosie to show our solidarity with the NFRW. It is important that we support all of our national Republican candidates especially during the elections in November.”
Founded in 1938, the NFRW has thousands of active members in local clubs across the nation, making it one of the largest women’s political organizations in the country. The grassroots organization works to promote the principles and objectives of the Republican Party, elect Republican candidates, inform the public through political education and activity, and increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government.
