The 17th Annual Early Childhood Education Entrepreneurship Expo, presented by the Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC), will be held on Saturday, June 20, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the UIC Forum, 725 W. Roosevelt Road, in Chicago.

Themed “Excel.Grow.Lead.” and presented in Spanish and English, the Expo is the only event of its kind in the Chicago area that provides business solutions, resources, products, information and services to prospective and established early childhood education entrepreneurs.

Expo highlights include The State of Early Childhood Education Entrepreneurship Breakfast and Panel; Grow Track Workshops for Start-Up Entrepreneurs and Lead Track Workshops for Established Entrepreneurs; Early Childhood Education Entrepreneurship Applause Awards Luncheon, honoring outstanding child care providers and activists in the child care community; Exhibition Hall of more than 60 booths featuring insurance vendors, bankers, child care associations, state regulatory agencies for the industry, educational products and curriculum vendors; Chocolate Hour and Graduation Reception, honoring recent graduates of the WBDC’s Early Childhood Education Entrepreneurship Program.

Limited early bird online registration is available for $25 for the first 250 people and includes breakfast and lunch. General admission online, including breakfast and lunch, is $40 prior to June 5th.
