Las Vegas, NV (BlackNews.com) – The festivities surrounding “May Day” – the fight of the century, continue to grow as Floyd Mayweather Sr. will host a pre-fight party kickoff event from Las Vegass Fiesta Rancho Casino on Thursday, April 30th. Friends, fans, boxing enthusiast and well-wishers are invited to take pictures with the father, mentor, right hand corner man and legendary trainer of the five-division undefeated world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Floyd Sr. will be joined by others from Team Mayweather and celebrity friends with surprise guest performances Thursday night, April 30th in Las Vegas.

Motown daughter Sherry Gordy along with Rosemary McKnight of For The People Entertainment will co-host this epic event and invite guest to bring in May Day weekend by wearing Floyd Mayweather Sr’s theme colors of black and gold and be part of history as his son nears closer to the all-time 49-0 record. Official fight apparel will be available for purchase as well as photographs with Floyd Sr. Mingle with Floyd Mayweather Sr., Team Mayweather and friends and view celebrity guest performances.

The Official Mayweather pre-fight party will take place at the Fiesta Rancho Casino inside the Tequila Room and is located at 2400 Rancho Dr., Las Vegas, NV 89130. Doors open at 7pm.

Floyd Mayweather Sr. is an American boxing trainer, and was a welterweight contender during the 1970’s and 1980’s. He is known for his defensive ability and overall knowledge of boxing strategy. He is also the father and trainer of his son, five-division boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.
