CHICAGO, IL – Chicago Muslim Organization, a grass root group, will hold an event in Chicago to condemn the brutal attack by Taliban on an Army run school in the Pakistani city of Peshawar which has left over 140 people, mostly children, dead and many injured.

The fatal attack, which occurred in the early hours of December 16th, 2014, sparked an international outrage, as Taliban gunmen walked from class to class in the school shooting 132 students.

The pain and destruction in the city, the killing of young innocent lives has left families torn apart and haunted by the loss of their loved ones. Those attending will pay tribute to the lives of the innocent children & condemn Taliban and their sympathizers for their brutal act of terrorism.

They will gather at the corner of Washington St. & Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL, at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 27th, 2014.
