Video Furthers Discussion, Support of Suicide Prevention

CHICAGO, IL – Ryan Chiaverini, Co-host of Windy City Live on ABC7 Chicago threw a music video release party on Friday, August 15th to thank all of the actors, musicians, and other professionals who donated their time to make the music video to “Chicago” possible. Ryan Chiaverini is generously donating all of his proceeds from the song to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Out of the Darkness Chicagoland Community Walk (www.ChicagoWalk.org). Ryan lost his brother to suicide and shared at the party that this was the first upbeat song he was able to write after his brother had passed.

The music video includes cameos by many famous Chicagoans including Ernie Banks, Mark Giangreco, Roe Conn, Richard Reoper, Van Warner, and more! Actor Mark de Carlo plays harmonica on the track.

Since Ryan’s announcement on Windy City Live the Out of the Darkness Chicagoland Community Walk website, www.ChicagoWalk.org, has had increased traffic including additional donations and registered walkers.
