Tea Party extremists like Paul Ryan and my opponent Nan Hayworth are working to dismantle Social Security as we know it and we have to do everything we can to stop them before it’s too late. Click here to tell irresponsible extremists to keep their hands off Social Security.

Remember how one of Nan Hayworth’s first Tea Party ideas was to privatize Social Security? I sure do. Even worse, she voted for Paul Ryan’s budget to privatize Social Security and give huge tax breaks to the wealthiest one percent.
As we celebrate the 79th birthday of our country’s most important social safety net, it’s hard to believe there are so many extremists out there who want to attack it.
It’s even harder to believe that one of those far-right extremists is right here in the Hudson Valley, but it’s true.
Today we celebrate 79 years of Social Security providing crucial benefits to senior citizens who have worked their whole lives to earn them. But instead of celebrating, we need to defend this important institution before it’s too late!
Extremists like Nan Hayworth think they can balance the budget on senior citizens’ backs and it’s completely outrageous. We should be working to make our current programs more sustainable for future generations, not making drastic cuts to our current seniors’ benefits.
We need to do everything we can to save Social Security, right now. I need your help today to send a strong message to these irresponsible extremists.
Thanks for helping me send a strong message,
