SCurl® Heightens “Groom Esteem” Through Partnership with Steve Harvey’s National Mentoring Camp for Young Men

Chicago, IL ( — In a year full of pivotal endeavors, SCurl adds a partnership with Steve Harvey’s National Mentoring Camp for Young Men, to its list.

Started in 2009 by radio, TV and film personality Steve Harvey, the national mentoring camp is held during the Father’s Day weekend at Harvey’s private ranch. Its goal is to teach young men from single-mother homes, the essential principles of manhood and dream-building.

According to Pamela Richardson, SCurl’s Senior Brand Manager, the partnership was a “natural alliance”. Says Richardson, “Luster Products has been giving back to the community for over 50 years – particularly to those programs dealing with the betterment of our youth. We believe that the same principles Mr. Harvey teaches about self-respect and self-confidence, begin with a positive self-image.. and good grooming is the physical expression of self-worth. That’s what SCurl is all about.”

SCurl will be making a product donation to the participants of the mentoring camp. Included will be daily care and styling products to help encourage and promote life-long grooming habits.
