Washington, D.C. – The National League of Cities’ NLC University and the University of Chicago will present “Big Ideas for Cities,” an event featuring mayors from around the country offering compelling talks on ideas, initiatives or innovations that can make a dramatic difference to the future of our cities. The event will cover a wide range of topics, such as new approaches to closing the achievement gap in education, sustainable solutions for cities, inclusive growth, climate adaptation and resilience and strategies for leveraging partnerships that deliver results for cities. The event is open to the media.
