Landmark research spotlights serious health issue affecting millions of African-Americans

Nationwide (BlackNews.com) — The African-American Wellness Initiative (AAWI) has launched BlackHealthWeb.com, a natural health website targeted to the African-American community. The web site is running a featured article based on landmark research conducted by the organization with a headline that reads: “A HEALTH ALERT FOR THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN COMMUNITY: The color of your skin may be contributing to a hormone deficiency that’s putting your life at risk”.

The article, which will be featured at the top of their home page for an extended period, details steps you can take to protect your health.

According to Patrick Delaney, founder of the African-American Wellness Initiative and publisher of BlackHealthWeb.com, “This is a topic that has received some media attention, but we cover the topic in a comprehensive, illuminating and particularly useful way. I believe this is information every African-American should be aware of, and strongly believe many lives will be saved as a result of our research and reporting.”

The African-American Wellness Initiative, which advocates a natural, holistic approach to health and wellness, publishes natural health articles Monday through Friday on BlackHealthWeb.com. Their library of articles, which according to Mr. Delaney “provide an alternative, insightful and eye-opening perspective on health issues confronting the African-American community”, cover over 100 health conditions and over 200 topics.
